traction control/thick gear question

traction control/thick gear question I have a 2000 T/A a4. It has 2.73 gears and also has traction control. If I replace the gears with the "thick gears", will it affect the traction control system or abs? I have asked everyone I can think of, and no one knows. Any help would be apprecitated, thanks.

no, the gear replacement won't affect the tcs at all. i have an 00 a4 z28 with "asr" and it still functions as annoyingly as it always did before. i have strange 373s with the thick ring gear. after the shift kit i had to make a habit of turning it off as it kept pushing the pedal back during 1-2.

Thanks!! I was just worried because I had a '95 z-28 and I replaced the gears and carrier to a 3 series carrier and it disabled the abs. The sensor would not line up or something like that.
