Need to take out ABS system I'm installing the Wilwood brake kit and just realized that I would have to take out the ABS system. Do you know whats needed to take out the entire system and make the abs light go away? My car will be an all out race car so no ABS needed anyways.

Re: Need to take out ABS system You just have to plumb the lines directly from the master cylinder. There are two ways you can do this:
#1 - Connect a direct line to the rear brake line and use a distribution block to feed the two front lines from the master cylinder.
#2 - (this is what I did) If you have a line lock solenoid, run the line from the master cylnder that feeds the front lines, into the solenoid. Then run two feed lines out of the solenoid into the front brake lines (hence, the solenoid becomes your distribution block). Connect the rear feed line directly to the master cylinder.
As far as the ABS light goes, I disassembled my instrument cluster and put a piece of black electrical tape over the lights that really annoyed me (ABS and Brake lights). I guess you could have them disconnected maybe, but this seemed much simpler to me and it's really not noticable on the black speedo background.

I actually got bored on night and disassembled the gauge cluster, and unsoldered the ABS and Brake LED's from the PCB. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
