posi question
I'll chime in with what I know, not that I know that much :
The Eaton posi is a true "positrac" system, always turning both rear wheels at equal speeds.
The Torsen uses a torque sensing differential - when one wheel turns at 70%, the other wheel turns at 30%. Not true equal distribution of power. The Torsen uses internal spider gears.
The GM stock Auburn rear uses a clutch/disc system and is (from what I understand) the weakest of the three.
Hope that helps somewhat, maybe someone else will pipe in. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
