Default Welding SFC's

I just received my BMR sfc's. I was wondering if any of you had welded your own on? Did you stick weld them on or use a wire feed. Also what type of wire or rod did you use? I have a welder and thought i could possibly do this instead of paying someone to do this.

I used a wire-feed setup, same thing you use to weld exhaust.

Stick rod gets hotter, make sure you pull up the carpet above any place being welded. That stuffing under the carpet is flammable and guys have caught their cars on fire by welding subframes before.

Think safety first!

Be sure you prep the areas to be welded by using a buffing wheel to get the paint/primer off. Makes the process much cleaner and easier to run a bead.
