what could i expect?

what could i expect? i have 3:73's in the car right now i am getting m/t et drags 26x10.5x16 i am thinking of going with 4:10 gears because i want more performance out of the car. the car has ran a best of 12.41@116 through an a4 with no converter. best 60 foot is 1.997. will going with 4:10 gears drop the 60 foot a little until i can get a converter? and what would gears, tires and a converter do for the car when its done?
