Suspension help!
Sub Frame Connectors
Strut Tower Brace
X Chassis Brace
Here is where I get lost, I want the car (2000 Z28) to ride about 1 inch lower and I am going to add 17x9.5 wheels at each corner. So I know I need aftermarket springs/shocks? I am unsure what to go with here. Also am I going to need to go with LCA, LCA relocation brackets, aftermarket tourqe arm, panhard bar.... etc? I am a newbie to suspension. I know I want it to sit an inch lower, handle well, not flex, transfer as much power to the pavement as possible... What am I looking at to achieve my goals?
Strut Tower Brace
Sub-frame Connectors
Adjustable Panhard Bar (good for lowered cars)
Lower Control Arms w/ relocation brackets
HAL/QA1 Shocks and Springs.
This will lower your car about 1 inch, and given the HALs should do fairly well at both the drag strip and the coarse
I am by no means a suspension expert, so perhaps your best bet would be to give one of the pros a call. I know LG Motorsports (look to your right) deals in some pretty serious suspension packages. A package put together by somebody familiar with performance suspsension, that is designed to work as a unit is always going to be better than you or I piece-mealing together our own.
