yeah it's shot and I know it. everything else works just posi is toast...

is there an easy cheap way of fixing it?

You could try shimming it if it uses cones. What type is it?

I've read that they use some kind of worm gear mechanism(no cone, no clutches) and they are not serviceable at all! Sucks, don't it?
