question for gears about mods

hi a very good friend has a 99T/A it has a 224/228/534/537/112, LT,3500stall,LS6 intake,aftermarket catback,retainers,springs, lifters,cam bearings and rings,pushrods. the car has 157k and work done at 133k and the car is a daily driver 50 miles each way every day 5 days aweek. so with a 12 bolt would you go with 373 or342 gears.............please let me know what your input is and thanks for your time......................mike

What that stall... the 3.73's are even a little long. But since your friend has that much money, I guess he could afford to replace the tranny about once a year.
