Default Gears.
Guys, how much trouble will I have, putting 3.73s in my SS. Without tuning the comp. Is it possible to drive or race it like this.

you can have them installed no problem. I wouldnt suggest doing it yourself. There is no problem driving without a tune I believe just your speedo will be off. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

Tuning shouldn't be your problem. You'll need to have your computer recalibrated or your speedometer will be wrong.

one thing people don't think about with their speedo being off - it adds more miles to your car. i went from 273-373 and haven't had it tuned yet...now i get like 600 miles to tank
