thinking abt building a rear end??
alright, what do u guys think abt building a rear end? like picking up the complete housing, then axles, hub etc... installing them urself. i think thats what i want to do. i know how to build a rear end. i think it would be cheaper and possibly stronger. any comments? any good places or companies for these particular parts? thanks for u opinion. for a 2000ss a housing through moser or strange,, 9" or 12 bolt

Im thinking of doing the same thing. Buy the 9in housing then the rest of the parts. buy spererately elsewhere. I havent put much research in it yet, But will keep you posted.

I have been looking into the 9".
So far I have this:
moser 9" housing/axle kit with abs upgrade
detroit truetrac
strange s series case
ring/pinion gear
1350 yolk
daytona pinion support
gear kit
That is just under 1900 dollars, could be more or less.
And apparently you have to get a swaybar mount kit?????
