Hals vs front runners?

Hals vs front runners? What would be a better setup. I can only afford to get one of the two. Im cutting mid 1.6 on 17in SS rims and 16in et streets. And I was wondering what would help me out more. I really dont want to put runners on the car because I dont want the drag car look. But if thats whats better im down for it.

Re: Hals vs front runners? Hals no doubt! Having a properly tuned suspension will definitely help you the most. My front Hal shocks, LCA relocation brackets, and poly tq. arm mount are going on today, and it should make a significant difference. My car is bouncing some on the launch, and it's causing the suspension to unload every time it doesn't. That's why I'm still having traction problems with Hoosier slicks. I'm keeping the stock springs, though, because the drag springs are way too soft for daily driving for me. I had the springs and shocks on my '98 T/A, and the weight transfer was AWESOME. I made 4 passes the 1st time out w/ the new suspension setup, and my first 60' was a 1.53, followed by three 1.54's. My car had never been that consistent in 60' times!
