Default Squeaking noise

My car has been making a squeaking noise from the rear of the car for a few weeks. The noise occurs when someone either gets in or out of my car. It also happens when I drive over ruff bumps. The noise sounds like someone sitting on an old box spring mattress that is really worn out. So I thought that if I put some new shocks on the car it would take the noise away. Well this weekend I put monroe sensa trac shocks on the rear of my car and I sprayed WD-40 over all of the bushings. But the noise is still there. So does anyone have any idea what I could do to correct this annoying noise? Has anyone ever had this same problem? Open to suggestions. <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">

I doubt it is your shocks, I'll bet they are the rubber bushings on your lower control arms. Spraying WD-40 on them will probably make them squeak worse, you might have to drop them down and grease them if it is that bad.
