u-joint question
Take the c lips out of all the joints put it in a big bench vise put a super big socket on one side big enough for the bearing cap to go up in and a smaller one on the other side small enough to go threw the loke! Tighten the vise down and it will push it through!Ya can do all four sides like this!Once the bearing cap pops out flip the shaft over and push it back though the other side!Ya can in stall them the same way pretty much Do all the shafts aat work like this! Maybe ya can make some sense of this!

some have the c clips and some have the plastic retainer poured into the joints...if its plastic you need to heat the trunions with a propane torch to release the plastic.do NOT use alot of heat...just enough till the plastic flows out of the pour holes.
