BMW Z3 I realize this an LS1 site, but thought I would ask the knowledgeable folks here. My step-father has a 2001 automatic Z3, and I suggested to him the other day that a higher stall torque converter might wake up his car a bit. Well after spending a couple hours this evening trying to find info, I came with ziltch. Other than reading some mildly amusing somewhat related threads in the archives of roadfly.com which has a z3 message board. Those people don't seem even to know what TC is. I realize 99 percent of BMW owners probably don't modify their cars but jeeze, there seems to be a real limited selection of go fast goodies for those cars, and no aftermarket converters from what I can tell. Can anyone help me help an old man out.
Re: BMW Z3 I doubt there are any companies that make an aftermarket/higher stall TC for BMWs, and if so it would be a custom thing and exorbitant in price. <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0"> Maybe try all the BMW boards, there's quite a few. <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" />
