block to trans bolt pattern

What is the LS1's tranmision bolt pattern?
I have heard that it is not SBC.
Is it BOP or somthing else?

Well, how about your Turbo 350 guys?
Did it take an adaptor to mate the trany up to the engine?

Only 5 bolts match up between an LS1 and a TH350.

The very top one and the next to top one towards the passenger side don't match. In fact there is no top bolt hole on a TH350, and there is no hole in the block for the other I mentioned.

No worries though, those 5 are sufficient.

So other than that a TH350 or 4L80E will bolt right up with the 5 bolts?

Don't know about the 4L80E, but yes the TH350 bolts straight to the LS1 block without requiring any adaptors.
