You can check the torque arm and torque arm bushing..... I have been having major traction problems here lately and I checked my tourque arm mount and the bushing was all beaten up so I ordered a new one from Thunder Racing and it should be in next week and hopefully it might help out... I haven't tried nitto's but if the spinning doesn't stop soon I will .... I might do a few suspension mods also: sfc's , lca's and probably some shocks and springs.... check that out and if there isnt anything wrong with it try some sfc's .... I hear they make major differences!!

02NvyBlue,
What do ya mean "because it's so cold"? Houston doesn't get cold! The guys in IL, & MA get cold!
Here in PA I found that my Nitto's definately don't grip as well when it gets cold. Get LCA's with relocation brackets then a BMR Torque arm with a Poly bushing. That will help the traction issue.
IMO, John.

Nittos suck in cold weather. They spin a bunch and give you wheel hop when they are cold. Once they heat up, it's all good.

Here in Cleveland you definitely have to heat them up a bit. Like 5 miles on the highway type heatup! Catch-22; when you have severe wheel hop on cold Nittos, you can't necessarily do a quick burn off. I'm talking under 35 degrees. Also, I run mine much lower psi, like 23-24 on the street which helps.

Ya, Anything under 40 degrees and I can't get any traction at all. But when its warmer then that there great. I also run mine at 25 psi.

I had same problem. U can cure it w/ a 3 second burn out. LCA's going on this week as well.

Have fun.
