Upper &/or lower arms??
I was wondering if anyone has the upper A arms installed like the Global Wests or Hotchkins and what the benefits/drawbacks might be?? The Global Wests advertise a correction to the upper ball joint for lowered cars and increased drivability through caster and camber changes.
I would like to get the alignment set-up when I put on the new tires and will also be going with larger sway bars...any suggestions on which ones are good?? I have been reading up on the ones available whrough the above suppliers and the sponsors....How about bennies/drawbacks to rolled steel vs. hollow......size, does it REALLY matter...!?...etc...etc...
Thanks for your thoughts!
Jeff
I think I am going at least with the lower A-arms from Global or BMR. I need to check with them on the configurations.
I would really like to know if the K-member is really a direct bolt in with no massaging required and how hard it is to install as the engine is mounted to it!! AND if it is street worthy as in daily driver....the stock unit is so big (and heavy) that the tubular one just looks ....well.... fragile to the pothole/road imperfections of day to day driving.
