Need help with axle removal
Need help with axle removal Need to remove axles on a stock 10-bolt need to get the brake backingplates off, anyways i cant get the c-clips off because the spring plates are in the way. do i need to remove this if so how? any help is greatly appreceated.

Re: Need help with axle removal do you nean backing plates? you have ASR dont you? you have to losen or remove the wheel sensors or the exiter rings hit them and wont let you push the axles in far enough to get the C clips off... take the sensors off and the C clips will probably fall out

I have the same problem - c-clips won't come off

like freak said, I had to pull both wheel sensors off and both axles slid in and the c-clips fell right off. just pull sensor all the way out and you should be fine. Good luck
