Simple question... I have an 98 A4 with about 60K on it. Estimated, about how much HP and torque can my stock tranny and rear take? Im going to be doing a small cam soon (216/222 .537/.537 114 LSA) and maybe a torque converter. This summer, I was going to put some nitto drag radials on there amd maybe a few track runs. Am I in any danger? precautions?
Just wonder to what extent the stock drive line can hold up to. What are some good things to beef it up (besides a 12-bolt and brand new tranny <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> )

Re: Simple question... I'm no expert, but I would say you will be fine.
I see plenty of guys running 350 to 400 rwhp before they have to address any serious issues.
As for the Nittos and the track, that should not be a prob either. Generally with an auto, you rear-end will last a bit longer than most M6 rear-ends..
