Default wolfman jack just moved into my car

i had a little whine in the gears sence i purchased the car. monday the whine started to get real bad. i can hear it over my borla exhaust with the plate open. the whine goes away when i let off the gas pedal. tuesday it didn't start whining till 60 mph or so. today it started hearing it at 50 mph.

is my rear end fixing to go out?

thanks in advance

10bolt I take it? Mine would whine a little bit before it went out, but it would make a metal to metal grinding sound more than it would whine. Sounded like I was in an old school factory or something...you could HEAR the damn gears turning. Im sure someone with some more info will chime in soon too.

it's bad timing for this, lol. i'm was fixing to get a cam install and new wheels.
i guess it's going to be a cam and gears now. i think it's a 10 bolt. i don't do a lot of drag racing, maybe 3 or 4 times a year. i do plan on going on the local road course in the future. what gears should i get, 3.73's or 4.10's?

M6? Dont bother fixing the 10bolt. I blew mine up while I was stock. I have 4.11s in my 12bolt and I love them...off of the highway anyways.
