Default ?? 9in. in lowered Z28 ??

Bought a Moser 9in. and did some searching and never found a straight answer for this.
I'm using eibach sportline springs in the rear currently and QA1's up front. I was told that a 9in. will not fit in a lowered car (would it the body), is this true. If so, what would it take to make a 9in. fit w/ approx. 2in's of drop? I'm using a BMR adj. torque Arm if that matters w/ a stock driveshaft.

Thanks

you'll be fine, you can only go so far before the axle tubes hit. Your pumpkin won't hit the underbody before your tubes do.

You will probably have to massage the sheet metal around the where the brake tee is and also where the Moser torque arm mounts.

My car is lowered, and my 9" will only hit on the severe bumps, while at speed. Not a horrible hit....more like a tap.

Mine is not lowered and still hits on severe bumps. At first it hit on everything-- until it made enough room for itself. The problem area is the torque arm mount (Moser housing). I'd probably have to do some serious massaging to make it work if I was lowered 2 inches. Something to consider but not impossible by any means.

My car is lowered with a Moser 9" housing and it only hits on big bumps which is very seldom.

About half of them are....it didnt affect the ride height at all, if thats what you're asking. And yes, even being that low, the bumping is really minimal. Only I hit something hard, and even then, its not that bad.
