Your gear of choice? Right now I have 3:73's in my 99 T/A A4 with the YANK 3000.
Would it hurt or help if I change to 3:42's???
Also, I am installing an ST3500 very soon

Re: Your gear of choice? I went from 3.73's with my ST3500 in the 10 bolt to 3.42's with the ST3500 and a 12 bolt. There was absolutely no differnce in ET. In fact MPH improved.
Gas mileage also improved (perish the thought) and it's a more pleasant ride on the highway.
I'd recommend 3.42's for an auto... 3.73's are too low in my opinion.

Re: Your gear of choice? I am getting 3.42's with my 12 bolt. Better traction. Better highway driving. Less wear on the engine. Saves gas. And is N20 freindly <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> .
