Re: How do I remove my stock U joint I went to the local Home Depot and for like $10 picked up a cheapie torch designed for soldering. Simply heat the ends of the driveshaft for a minute or two and the nylon ring they inject inside the ends will come out like a worm. When that is out, hit it a few times with a hammer and it will come right out.
Not worth paying more than $10 to have done. If a shop will do it for free, great, if not, do it yourself. Doesn't take any skill whatsoever - just time.

Re: How do I remove my stock U joint Becarful when you when you heat up the worm DO NOT stand over the u joint caps some times the grease inside will heat up and blow the cap completly threw a tin wall, after the worm comes out, take a socket large enough to receive the cap put it on the bottom and a small socket (small enough to go threw the drive shaft and drive out the u joint be very carefull and do not damsge the shaft BE VERY carfull
