Help! 10 Bolt Issues My 2002 CETA has 16,000 miles on it and is pretty much a garage queen. The last time I drove it I noticed a growling noise from what appears to be the right rear. I have ruled out tires or brake problems. I figured it was a bearing so I replaced both outer axle bearings. Didn't fix the problem. I did notice when it was apart the Torsen seamed pretty sloppy.
Questions:
Has anybody experienced this on a low mileage car?
Could it be the pinion bearing or the carrier bearings?
Is my diff toast? If so how can I check it?
Is my Torsen diff toast.
Lastly, how difficult is it to replace the three remaining bearings?
