Went slower with TC???

Went slower with TC??? Went to the track and my previous best was 13.19 @ 106.5... With the TCI 3000 Stall my best time was 13.10 @ 105.6...
My 60s before the converter were always 2.1's with the converter they are consistant 1.9's. Don't know what could be wrong??? Any Ideas???

Re: Went slower with TC??? It is possible that the converter is not efficent on the top end and you lost a little mph. you did go quicker (ET) which is the primary goal. Weather differences could account for the change in mph.

Re: Went slower with TC??? Hey Stephen, I put my TCI in and gained .3 but lost 2 mph. It's pretty normal to lose mph with TCI stalls. Those 60's should go down a little more and you should see another .1 in ET reduction.

Re: Went slower with TC??? Ya know mine does that too. It did it with the TCI and it still does it with the Vig. I think when I took out the driveshaft I might have messed up a u joint.
