9" questions
9" questions Okay im looking to get a 9" read in my car and prob get a step below 4.10 gears.Not sure what that would be prob 3.90 or someting like that. But question is wheres the best place to go and the CHEAPEST i work a min wage job pay my own car payment and insurance so u do the math. But good thing is tax returns are soon to be here. Also how hard is it to install any other parts needed or do i jus buy the rear pull the old one out and put the new one in its place? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like you should spend your $$$ on something other than a rear end! Sorry had to say it. Im all of my friends financial advisors! lol But seriously im looking into getting a 9" too and would also like some info. Thanks!
The nice thing about a 9" is that you can buy it in pieces as the money shows up. They're not hard to install but it is a little more than take the old one out, throw the new one in. You'll need a NAPA #447 u-joint for the new yoke. You have to have the old one pressed out. Probably new sway bar end links because the old ones will probably break. If you don't go the route I went you eill have to have your backing plates and other brake parts pressed on. Someone did a write up on this not long ago.
