Axle Question

Axle Question With the rear end in the air, I really cannot pull the driver's side rear wheel out any, but I can push and pull the passenger's side rear wheel quite a bit more and make some clanking noise. When I'm driving at slow speeds in a parking lot, I can hear some clanking and creaking and what not coming from the passenger's side rear wheel. I put a different axle in the passenger's side in 2004, and it MIGHT be a little bit longer than the other side and also might not be from a Camaro - I don't know how interchangeable GM axles would be with this '95 Z28. What can I do to correct this? Buy an axle of the same length as the driver's side?
