Will a 12-bolt be enough???? Hello all:
I was contemplating on buying the new Strange Dana S60 rear, but the lowest gear that they offer is a 3.54. I have a T76 turbocharged car and a TH400, and was wanting to go with the 3.08 in the Moser 12bolt. I make about 600RWHP and 700RWTQ on pump gas. Will the 12-bolt be enough?
The only reason I want a Moser 12-bolt is because of the 3.08 gear being offered in the 12bolt (I cruise a lot on the hwy). I occassionally take it to the track, its not an all-out drag racing car. I cruise in it some, but it's not my daily driver. I also plan on making more power once I go with a T88 and BigStuff3 PCM.
I haven't looked into gettting a 9-inch, since the ones I heard about around town are pretty damn loud. I need for this rear end to be real quiet.
