Pinion shims generally speaking, how thick of a shim[s] do you guys use on the pinion gear? or how thick do you guys generally start off with?
this is of course for the 7.5" 10 bolt.

thats the problem. i'm helping a buid re build his. and his pinion gear didn't have any! the bearing was spaced out!
turns out the car had 3.73s. thats explains why his speedo was all off.
