Homemade Mastercylinder Who here has made an adjustable MC??? Is so, how did you do it and what additional parts do you need to purchase???
I'm just curious as to what you used for the adjustment part....did you buy a new end and thread it onto the the stock piece after you threaded it????
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would just get the McLeod if I were you.I just put one on my 96Z/28 and can't believe the difference.This thing is so much beefier than the stock flimzy plastic piece of junk.All the time involved I wasn't about to put the stock one back in to save a couple hundred buck's.

Re: Homemade Mastercylinder cant remember who did it but they pulled the stock swivel deal off the bottom, threaded the rod, added a jamb nut and new threaded rod end.. thats it. good luck
Re: Homemade Mastercylinder I took a 1/2 x 1/2 piece of steel 2 1/4in long. Drilled a 1/4 hole threw the bottom about 1in deep. Then drilled and taped two 1/4 20 holes from the side and put set screws in then. So when you take factory rod end off you slip this end over master rod untill it bottoms out then lock it down with the set screws. On the other end I drilled and taped it 3/8 24 (about 7/8 deep) then put a 2in 3/8 24 rod and locked it down with a nut then put a 3/8 24 female rod end with a nut on the other end. You will also have to cut down the stop inside the master.
