Default Tranny Problems helpppppppp

Ok, first off i tore my clutch out and i needed a new one, so why i was getting a new clutch put in, my car would grind every now and again going into 3rd so i decided to have it fixed as well. I get it all together, 3 weeks later my car grinds going into 3rd and gets stuck in gears. I take it back to the tranny shop, they take it apart and the lil slides on the synchro's they called them dog ears one of them was broken. I had bought a 3-4 synchro assembly blocker rings and shift forks and fork pads all new from tremec. So the take it out and i had to buy the new "dog ears" and blocker ring again, there warranty covers labor only, so they put the new stuff in, i go home for the weekend a 2 hour trip, it messes up again, it pops out of 3rd grinds going into gears get stuck in gears and everything, when the initial reason i took it in was it grinded sometimes giong into 3rd now i got all these problems! Now all the dog ears are broken off the assembly, so does anyone know what the helll is going on or could help me?

Yep, those dog ears fell off my gears before too, when I broke the stock rearend and it locked up and shocked my tranny.

Sounds like your tranny shop needs more experience. They SHOULD have covered everything and rebuilt it the right way, correctly, the first time. I'd go raise hell!

Do you think it is from where they do not know what they are doing?
Because I had to pay for them to take the tranny out again and that cost me 250.00 now they just can't seem to understand what the hell is going on and i have never locked up my rear end or anything! He said our transmissions were easy, He said it went together with no problem yet 3 weeks later it does not work, all the ears are broken from the synchro assembly. So i paid 200.00 for the parts, 250.00 to take out and put in, messes up another 250.00 plus 100.00 for parts and now it is out again? What the hell do you think is going on? They are wanting to take the transmission to another person they know to see what he thinks! I have 800.00 in this right now, and the only thing that was wrong with it was that it grinded sometimes going into third, now it pops out and gets stuck! What the hell could they possibly be doing wrong? They guy is ATRA certified and ASE certified! He said our transmissions were not a problem? So is he lying or does he just not knwo what he is doing? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />
