Default help picking gears

i need some help picking gears for stock 10 bolt with m6. can't decide between 3.73-3.90-4.10. car is pretty much daily driver, but makes about 20-25 passes a year. do you lose gas mileage with the 4.10s, on the highway? also wondering if a rear end cover girdle is worth the extra money? will it help the rear hold up to harder launches with drag radials? thanks for any advice

While a TA Girdle does beef up the pumpkin a little, the rear end is still a weak 10-bolt.

4.10s are the most common choice for an M6 car, but keep in mind a numericly higher gear ratio will get worse gas mileage.

You have to use 4.10. With that 6 gear you will hardly notice difference on the highway. Anything less in M6 is a waste of money. You should be asking 4.10 or 4.56 lol

with the 4.10 you will be at 1900 rpms at 70 mph in sixth gear. 4.10 is the way to go
