help picking gears i need some help picking gears for stock 10 bolt with m6. can't decide between 3.73-3.90-4.10. car is pretty much daily driver, but makes about 20-25 passes a year. do you lose gas mileage with the 4.10s, on the highway? also wondering if a rear end cover girdle is worth the extra money? will it help the rear hold up to harder launches with drag radials? thanks for any advice
While a TA Girdle does beef up the pumpkin a little, the rear end is still a weak 10-bolt.
4.10s are the most common choice for an M6 car, but keep in mind a numericly higher gear ratio will get worse gas mileage.

is there much difference between the 3.90 and the 4.10s? if i,m at 1900 rpms at 70, will i be above 2000 rpms at 80mph in 6th gear? if i am will i lose alot of gas mileage? thanks for any help or info
