Rear end experts, come in!! What is the correct procedure for checking pinion bearing preload on the rear diff?? Do you just torque the pinion nut down and simply check to see how much torque is needed to turn the pinion?
Any help would be appreciated!!

Re: Rear end experts, come in!! thats it...its just how much torque required to move the pinion dynamically (not how much it takes to start moving...its what it takes to keep moving)
