Default 4.10 Breakage

I have heard allot about people breaking 4.10s in the stock 10 bolt. I dont know what they were doing when they broke them. But I would like some stories. I want to put 4.10s in the Camaro but am worried cause of all the stories and rumors. My car is NOT daily driven and NOT Dragged either. I am just trying to build a pretty nasty street car. I am NOT an agressive driver (unless the situation calls for it) Will I have any probs. Thanks in advance

From what I have gathered, if you run street tires you SHOULD be ok...but the teeth on the ring and pinion are pretty darn small...I have 3:73's and sometimes cringe when spinning..and hope for the best......Mine are GM Gears...

My definition of a street tire is anything you run on the street i.e my daily driven DR's are street tires, I have broken three sets of 4.10's and a stock set set of 3.42's IMHO it's not the gears, it's the size of them i.e these cars never should have come with 7.5 inch 10 bolts.
