Default 9 inch question(HELP!)

ok so im about to get a full 9 inch housing(no internals at all) for free and wondering how much work/money/what all i would need to get that thing under my car... what parts from my 10 bolt can i keep and such...im looking for a FULL list of everything i need so that i can start finding things

where are you getting the 9 in housing from? is it made for the 93-97 f-body?

no i dont even know whats its from everything is going to have to be custom its not made for an fbody or anything...

You will most likely not be able to use anything from the 10. Tube OD is different. You will need lots of fabbing done for the springs, shocks, LCAs and PHR. Then the center with diff and gears. Unless you have a welder/fabricator in the family you would be better off with a Moser housing. Not to mention axles, bearing and such. BTW one axle needs to be shorter than the other and one tube shorter than the other due to the pinion coming out off center.

imo its not worth the head ache, unless your a metal fabricator. which i used to do but even still i wouldnt want to mess with it.... give moser a call.
