What rear to get?

From: Richmond, VA Where fast cars, well......are hard to come by.
What rear to get? I was searching about finding a new rear, and it seems every rear has just as many complaints as praises. I need something stronger, but not over the top. Only planning on about 500hp/600tq and I want to keep my abs and I'd rather not have a ton of noise. I saw a lot of ppl have the moser 12bolt instead of the strange, but every moser I've heard makes a racket, and I don't know squat about the 9" or dana rears available now.
