Need Help.....
We put a 3000 stall in a 2002 RamAir and the car had a pause between 1st and 2nd.
You go full throttle and as soon as it shifts to 2nd it has a small pause then it pulls again. Also around town driving sucks again the ***** between 1st and 2nd it feels as if someone pulls up the e-brake and then lets it down. The only mods are a full exhaust headers , y-pipe and borla cat back and 3:42 gears. We want to put Nos on it but dont know if its a good idea right now. Can someone help us.
thanks.

Re: Need Help.....
When you get that pause after a WOT shift, thats probably what we call Torque Management. Its there to reduce the power applied to the tranny right after the shift. Ford Lightnings do the same thing after a shift.
Around town, I have no clue what is causing that. If the Y pipe from the headers is banging the floorboard or rattling a lot, it can cause the knock sensors to pull out timing from the engine, often the jar of a shift will make exhuast components bang and it will pull timing.
