Default A3/Electric Speedo, ABS Sensor?

OK, the A3 swap seems to be very popular over here(vs the LT1 crowd) and I know that the speedo is a spot of concern, some go with the Yank kit, and some get the parts from GM to do this, has anyone used the ABS sensor to make the speedo work?

Talking to a guy this weekend, said a shop had used the ABS sensor to run the speedo instead of messing with the trans side of the equation, this was on a TH400 swap.

Anyone? Yes, I am calling the shop but wanted to know if anyone else had done this?

Macguyver said he had a cheap way of doing it, I would e-mail him...

I personally went with the yank speedo sensor, it was $250 but it did the job.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
