Help choosing a 9 inch
I have a new ARE 422ci
TNT 250 shot
McLeod dual disc for the M6
Dennys N20 driveshaft
28 inch M/T ET Drags for tires
I need help deciding which 9 inch to get
The cars a weekend warrior for the most part. I do enjoy some street driving though. Been hearing about the spool, but not really sure if that's the route I should go. Posi of course I'm familiar with but I know eventually it will wear as well. I have no clue to how a detroit locker will act around town or even how long it would last.
I want to bulletproof my rearend. So I'm looking at either a 33 spline w/ posi or a 35 spline with detroit locker or spool. More than likely will be dropping the clutch at either 5500-6000 rpms.
So what do yall think I should go with????

+ locker will not die like posi
+ locker is straight out of the whole
- locker totally sucks for lane changes
- locker w/o front swaybar = kicks to the right from a roll
+ spool is the cheapest
+ best at the track
- ghetto for a street car
- forget about parallel parking w/o getting a lot of stares on the street
+ posi is great for regular driving
- smokes the clutches in the posi and after a while it's one tire fire forever
