ASR question

ASR question I am about to pull out my 4 channel rear end for a 3 channel rear taht is totally rebuilt, and out of hte same year car as mine.
Mine is a stock 10bolt with 3.42 gears, TCS(asr) and ABS
His is a
10 bolt, fully rebuilt, auburn diff, motive 3.73's, but it only has ABS
will this be ok? i dont ever use the stupid ASR anyways.....

just reuse the old axles and backing plates and your good to go
And no HPtuners doesn't help because the PCM doesn't control the ABS/ASR functions.
