B&M Deep tranny pan

B&M Deep tranny pan How low is the B&M deep transmission pan? Would it hang lower than a 3" y-pipe or boxed SFCs? Does it help with cooling? Can anybody give me any opinions about it? Thanks a lot.

Re: B&M Deep tranny pan I bought the B&M from Jegs, and stuck it under there, and it hung WAY to low!!! My car is NOT lowered. It hangs approximatly 2.5 inches lower than the stock pan, I measured them side by side with my stocker off!!
I just went with the deep truck pan, and new filter, and it worked great. Now I have a 6qt pan, with a drainplug, and it only hangs a 1/2 lower than stock. I also installed a B&M 24K trans cooler at the same time.
The truck pan # is-24215535 filter#-24208576, I bought them both from Gene at Phoenix Pontiac for a $100 total. The B&M pan didnt even come with a new filter, just an extension for the old one all for $170!! You decide, Good Luck!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
