Pinion Bolt Torque Spec?
Easy question for some of ya Im sure....I do not recall torqueing these to any spec...and am going to check it tomorrow morning when I change my diff. fluid.

The only pinion bolt I know of is the one that controls the preload on the pinion. The same nut that crushes the crush sleeve?
If we are talking about the same nut I woulden't screw with it as over tightening it will lead to a noisy rear-end.

I watched the installer do mine two weeks ago. I recall that he used an impact wrench to tighten the pinion nut. He then used an inch/pound torque wrench to check the pinion drag, setting it at 30 in/lbs.
Yup, but this is a one way street. You tighten it too far and get high pinion drag you have to replace the crush sleeve. You can't simply loosen it, because it would cause the pinion to be loose now that the crush sleeve would be over crushed.
