Gear pros come in
Problem is that noone around here has an assortment of shims that I can purchase. The dealer has their shims like this for example: .040, .041, .042, .043, .044 in one package for xxx amount of dollars. I would spend an enourmous amount of money if I had to buy every shim set they offer. Has anyone noticed a pattern as far as what range of shims for the ring gear and pinion will take for a proper setup? I'm new to this but have a knowledgable friend that's gonna be helping, the dealer just won't be open during this, and I want to have what we'll need on hand. THANKS!
