Popping out of third

Popping out of third When I bought my car it was difficult to put it into third gear and let it go and then let the clutch out and have it stay into gear. I was wondering what the problem is and what to do about it? <img border="0" alt="[Firebird]" title="" src="graemlins/formula.gif" />

Re: Popping out of third Sounds to me like 3rd gear synch's are shot....there was a TSB recall on that.
I believe only 99 and 00 tho

Re: Popping out of third I have the same issue with my 02 WS6. I have also come across a few folks from the Georgia F-Bodies club with similar experiences.
