9 inch q's I bought a 35 spline detroit locker and a strange nodular iron pro series third member for 9in. my problem is the detroit locker housing is hitting the pinion support on the third member. Has anyone had this problem setting up their 9 inches? I know the detroit locker is for a 9 inch as well.

I would take the die grinder to it but theres so much hitting If ground it down to make it fit there would be nothing left of the pinion support. otherwise I would of. I know that the carrier bearings are the right size and the case is the right size to. Im not sure what else to do?

I have built many of these with Strange castings, are you using a different manufacture case? HRW, Moser, etc.
Maybe take a pic for me to see.
