Default Wheel Studs problem

I just got my 3.73's installed by a friend of mine and he said that my wheel studs are too short for the rims that I have on there. Im gonna change them out but I need to kno If I can get them out with out having to pull the axles out. Also what size studs should I go with. I was thinking 3.25" studs.

These are the STUDS you want. I remember seeing a couple of threads about swapping the rear studs without taking the axles out. Just do a little searching in this forum and I'm sure you'll find it. I'd get the 3" version of the studs though.

you shouldnt have to take the axles out. I broke one of my old ones off, and had to replace it, and didnt need to take the axle out. Just hammer the old ones out, the stick the new ones in and use an old (open ended) lug nut and an impact to pull them through.

Im replacing the stock studs for longer studs, will I be able to put the longer studs in with out having to take the axles out. It looks like I can get the stock ones out with having to pull the axles.

I remember one guy posting that he drilled a hole in the backing plate. But you can also try removing the ABS sensor like Emoney97ss said
