Help choosing gear ratio!!! Ok, my car currently has the mods in my sig. Basically just some bolt-ons. Next month i am getting my tranny rebuilt and a new rear-end. Im going with a strange 9", with 35 spline axles and some of the other stuff. I am going to go with some 15" wheels and 28" tires. My question is which gear ratio should i get for the quarter mile.
I am later going to get a nice big cam like TREX or something near it. And im going to change the gears again. So keep that in mind.
So can anybody tell me the best choice of gears here. I was thinking 4.30's. Would that be too aggressive for a bolt-on car.
