DS vibration
I just installed a FLP IV 4L60E and a dennys nitrous ready driveshaft and a moser 12 bolt. Now when I start to go around 120 there is quite a bit of vibration, is that from the driveshaft being off balance or is it normal with the heavier duty set up?

Get it reballanced.
It's a steel driveshaft, expect vibration.

Are you sure you have ruled out wheels/ tires/ transmission? I've seen the same thing about converters vibrating; turn them 120* and presto - no vibrations.

how would rotating it 180 degrees do a damn bit of good? you sure its seated right? Mine is doing the same thing.... and when im pretty sure its the drive shaft... altough i have a stock drive shaft but i did change the u joint.

The line of thought is this, a slim one but FREE to try. If you have an out of balance shaft and lets say it is heavy on the top (I know what is the top humor me) and the yoke is heavy on the bottom (Use some imagination) now if these two points are on the same side as each other you double the out of balance ness of the whole thing. Turn it 180 and it MIGHT balance out a little better. You don't have to buy this line of thought to each his own but it has known to work for some.
Have you ever seen someone try to balance a tire on mag rims and could not get it to balance with a reasonable amount of weight? Then see them spin the tire and could then balance it with a small amount of weight. Same sort of thing.
