Is this normal? I just replaced my entire driveline, 12 bolt, Dennys dreiveshaft, FLP IV tranny, Yank ST3800, Spohn Torque arm, Panhard rod, LCAs. And now when it shifts gear it does soem strange stuff. From first to second it feels like there is a bump in the road when it shifts, and there is no bump. This will always happen on the shift if it is in drive not if i shift manually. Any ideas
Re: Is this normal? This is just a thought but maybe the Hypertech power programmer would help you out. You would be able to play around with the firmness of your shifts, and some other useful things. Check it out.
Re: Is this normal? 2 factors are at work:
1) your new tranny shifts faster and harder than your old stock tranny which had mushy shifts for increased ride comfort.
2) your suspension pieces are stiffer and use much harder washers/connectors and thus transmit more vibration through the car.

Re: Is this normal? Keep an eye on it but yes it sound normal. Maybe take a look to see if you got everything tight under the car. Like the TQ arm and lower control arms. If so should be fine. My car does the same sort of thing (But I have a M6) ALL of my bushings are Chrome Molly.
