ok, so I'm gettin my 10-bolt rebuilt next Friday. I have bought a used rear from a guy locally. It is out of a auto car with 2 series carrier. My car currently has a 3 series since its got 3.42 gears & is a 6-speed. I'm not sure if my stock gears are ok, so I also bought a set of used but perfect 3.42 gears. My thoughts was at least I would have another posi, set of gears & axles in case those need to be swaped out when rebuilt. Even with buyin a spacer its cheaper to get this stuff second hand than buy it new from the shop doin the rebuild.

I know from reading to make a 2 series posi work with a set of 3 series gears I need a spacer. Where do I find this spacer & for how much????

Thankx Zach. I called Jon yesterday & talked to him for a minute about it. I will be callin back today, I don't really have time to waste lookin around. I gotta have all my parts together & ready to go to the shop next Friday.
